Chicago Apartment Search

I put in an application to rent this apartment today!

(update - WE GOT IT!!)

It is soooo almost perfect i can't stand it! Super close to the EL (which is hard to find) totally affordable with lots of space (2.5 bdrms) PLUS a yard! (I used to grow tomatoes when i lived in LA, and I'd love to start gardening again.) The street was gorgeously green and the interior of the apartment had beautiful hard wood floors and original, well maintained wood trim. The only minor down side is there's no garage for chad's car, although street parking doesn't seem to be too much of a problem in the neighborhood. Also the owner enforces a no dogs policy, although cats are ok. Although we don't have any pets at this moment Chad was hoping to find a place where he could get a dog. However no-pets is NOT a deal breaker if everything else is perfect.

Here's the specs, details, pros and cons:

I totally dig the Logan Square area. You get way more space for your money and it's a little farther out there, but still has a great neighborhood vibe with local restaurants, bars and markets. There was even a farmers market one block away.

Cross your fingers we get it! --- UPDATE: WE GOT IT!!
