We are engaged!!
We first talked about marriage over Thanksgiving in Athens GA, but weren't quite ready to announce our official engagement to our families and friends until Christmas. There was no 'traditional' proposal, together we decided we were ready make the life long commitment to each other. We're having our rings custom made by a local artist and jewelery designer out of Athens.
My good friend, Jillian took these "proposal" pictures of us in the installation she and I made while i was in Athens.
We are both SO excited and happy to have come to this decision to spend the rest of our lives together. After 5 years, 2 cities, and 2 years of living together, and many highs and lows we both feel ready to make that next step.
It feels good.
