Summer Goals/Plans

Here's my list of things to do/accomplish this summer:

1) GARDEN!
- Altgeld Sawyer Corner farm has been gaining momentum. Now I have to figure out my part of it: the layout, the plants i can access, how to best plant and grow them... sigh.
- Also we've been working in our back yard on veggies with our upstairs neighbor, Andy. I need get some planting and weeding done back there, including trying to start some seedlings out of seeds from my own food.
There's just so much to learn and to figure out. eeks.

2) Activities
- biking, any time i can, as much as possible
- hooping - getting better, learning some tricks
- poi - a friend at school taught me a few of the basics, i just want to practice that (more! more! more!)
-hang out on the beach (bike there, hoop, poi... picnic, nap, volley ball? .. whatever)

3) Art/Design
- wedding invitations for Syd and Fritz (It will be the gift from me and chad)
- print more cards (LOTS more) to sell in more shops (maybe etsy?) and find more places to carry the cards
- edition The Night Sky constellation book

4) READ (my own shit)

- PUSH - Sapphire
- Me Talk Pretty One Day - David Sedaris
- The Time Traveler's Wife - Audrey Niffenegger (teaches a class in my program)
- The House on Mango Street - Sandra Cisneros

5) Travel!
- NYC for a wedding (and visits with family, friends)
- Berlin to visit Anita
- Lakes of Fire midwest regional burn campout (Michigan)
- Devil's Lake (Wisconsin)
- Camping in Oregon Illinois with friends for the DEMOlition Derby!
- San Francisco and Burning Man at the end of the summer!
